Dawn to Dusk – CW9 Mad Libs

It was Erin’s favorite time of year. The __________ (noun) might interfere with her attempts to draw, but the slashes of __________ (adjective) leaves provided more than enough __________ (noun) to make up for that. The public __________ (noun) was the best place to __________ (verb), away from her __________ (adjective) apartment complex and her apathetic __________ . (plural noun)

Erin __________ (verb) to her usual bench, her suede __________ (plural noun) padding on the path.  It didn’t have a lot of character; it was a shiny, recently __________ (verb ending in -ed) wooden __________ (noun).

And, in case you were curious but didn’t want to read the whole story, here is the original version:

“It was Erin’s favorite time of year. The wind might interfere with her attempts to draw, but the slashes of vibrant leaves provided more than enough inspiration to make up for that. The public park was the best place to draw, away from her crowded apartment complex and her apathetic housemates.

Erin bounced to her usual bench, her suede shoes padding on the path.  It didn’t have a lot of character; it was a shiny, recently painted wooden bench.”
